Pune : In Vadgaonsheri Assembly Constituency, 445 polling stations will be set up to accommodate an increased voter base of 503,539 individuals. Webcasting services will be available at 443 of these stations, which will be monitored via CCTV with video recording.

At a press conference, Electoral Officer Sachin Barwakar and Assistant Officer Tripti Kolte-Patil shared the details. The constituency’s voters include 259,453 men, 243,984 women, and 102 transgender individuals. Webcasting will be implemented at 437 stations in urban areas and six in rural areas.

A workforce of 2,450 officers and employees will be mobilized for election tasks, and every polling station will be fully equipped with electricity, water, and sanitation facilities. Inspections have been conducted, and instructions issued to ensure the infrastructure is ready by polling day. There will be polling booths in 11 sheds and parking spaces across 53 buildings, with specific locations such as Kasturba Housing Society in Vishrantwadi and St. Crescent Society on Mundhwa Road hosting multiple stations.

Additionally, 14 polling locations have been relocated, and on November 14 and 15, home voting will be available for 31 elderly voters, mainly those aged 85 and above.

Sixteen candidates are contesting in Vadgaonsheri, which means two voting machines will be used at each station—one for candidate selection and another for “None of the Above” (NOTA) options.
