Mulashi (Pune) : A truck traveling from Pune to Pirangut lost control while navigating the steep slope of Pirangut Ghat and fell into the parking lot of a nearby mall. The incident occurred between 11 and 11:15 am. While no one else was injured, the truck driver sustained injuries, and several parked vehicles were damaged.
The truck broke through the parking lot barrier before overturning, scattering large stones across the area. Fortunately, the spot was unoccupied at the time, preventing a potential disaster. Typically, this location experiences heavy traffic, and the absence of people was a fortunate circumstance.
The overturned truck was severely damaged, and debris from the incident littered the area. Upon receiving information about the accident, Paud Police Station officers promptly arrived at the scene. A large crowd of onlookers gathered, adding to the commotion.
This marks the third truck overturning incident at this location within the past year. Local authorities are calling for immediate and concrete measures to prevent such recurring accidents.
